MESOCOSM GmbH is a team of experienced scientists working for more then 10 years in the field of aquatic ecosystem science and ecotoxicology. Our main focus is the performance of GLP-mesocosms studies for registration.

Our aim is to support the development of a regional care for water systems in relation to the European water framework directive.

Therefore we

o        organize meetings and courses for pupils, students and professionals

o        support the local nature conservancy organisation

o        manage administration of the postgradual studies “Ecotoxicology”

o        have cooperation with several universities (e.g. doctorate and diploma theses)

o        analyse drinking water quality

o        perform aquatic field studies together with regional authorities and organisations

o        perform GLP-mesocosms studies for registration

o        develop further methods and tools for aquatic field studies and risk assessment
